 米尔德雷德（弗兰西斯·麦克多蒙德 Frances McDormand 饰）的女儿在外出时惨遭奸杀，米尔德雷德和丈夫查理（约翰·哈克斯 John Hawkes 饰）之间的婚姻因此走到了尽头，如今，她同儿子罗比（卢卡斯·赫奇斯 Lucas Hedges饰）过着相依为命的生活。一晃眼几个月过去了，案件仍然没有告破预兆，而警方似乎早已经将注意力从案子上转移了开来。被绝望和痛苦缠绕的米尔德雷德租下了高速公路边上的三块巨型广告牌，在上面控诉警方办案无能，并将矛头直接对准了警察局局长威洛比（伍迪·哈里森 Woody Harrelson 饰）。实际上，威洛比一直隐瞒着自己身患绝症命不久矣的事实。因为这三块广告牌，米尔德雷德和威洛比的生活发生了翻天覆地的变化。

　　江继威（吴奇隆饰）和洪欣欣（杨采妮饰）同在七夕节去月老庙求姻缘，江继威对外表清纯的张小盈（张庭饰）一见钟情，却因失神撞了想要偷拿红绳的欣欣，恼火的欣欣旋即对其展开“报复”行为，两人变成见面就吵的冤家。　　两星期后，欣欣在戏台上吊嗓时，却看见了江继威的鬼魂，原来江继威上了张小盈的当，被卷入抢劫案中继而被灭口。不甘心的江继威借助电线回到阳间，且歪打正着跑到欣欣所在的剧院。他希望欣欣可以帮他回到过去，挽回自己被杀的命运。欣欣最终经不住江继威的恳求，和他一起回到了两星期前。

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

 爱尔兰，Redmond Barry(瑞安·奥尼尔 Ryan O'Neal 饰）从小和母亲寄居在舅舅家，后来爱上了他的表姐Nora。Nora的父亲却想把她许配给一个英格兰将军John Quin。于是Barry向Quin提出决斗，决斗中Barry射中了Quin，误以为将他杀 死了，匆忙逃离家乡。路上他遭遇抢劫，走投无路只能加入英国军队。在军队中他才得知，其实Quin并没有死。Barry从英军中出逃，却加入了普鲁士军。战争结束后他成了普鲁士军官Potzdorf的心腹，更让他去监视一个在普鲁士的爱尔兰间谍。Barry却和这个爱尔兰骑士惺惺相惜，爱尔兰骑士带他出入赌场，收获颇丰。Barry觉得自己应该找个有钱的女人，于是盯上了Lyndon爵士的夫人Lady Lyndon。Lyndon爵士病重身亡，一年后，Barry和Lady Lyndon结婚，也成了一名贵族，改名为Barry Lyndon。但Lyndon爵士和Lady Lyndon的儿子Bullingdon却十分不喜欢Barry，Barry也预感到自己的未来将会毁于Bullingdon手中.....

 象人（约翰•赫特 John Hurt 饰）是一个天生的畸形症患者，他的脸长得就像大象的脸，因此而得名。象人一直被利欲昏心的马戏团老板利用，带到世界各地去巡回演出，受尽了非人的虐待。象人所经受的遭遇社会名流们都会感到不可思议，然而乐观坚强的象人却承担了下来。直到有一次，象人遇上了年轻的英国医生（安东尼•霍普金斯 Anthony Hopkins 饰），出于怜悯和医生的操守，他与马戏团老板签订了“领养”协议后，将象人带回了医院作研究。在医院里，象人重新感受到了人间的温暖，而医生也在和象人的交往中结下了深深的友谊，他已经舍不得这位“上帝的弃儿”。但利欲昏心的马戏团老板带人又将象人抢了回去，象人的新生活是否就此终结？
